Azan Board is a free prayer-times app. It has no ads, no accounts and no tracking.
What we collect
Nothing. Azan Board does not collect, store, sell or share any personal information. It has no server. It does not send anything about you, or about how you use it, to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your phone
Location. If you allow it, the app reads your approximate location to work out prayer times, the Qibla direction and your nearest city. This happens only on your phone, and your location is never sent anywhere. You can choose a city by hand instead.
Compass. Used only on your phone, to point to the Qibla.
Camera and photos. Used only if you choose "Read from a photo" on the My Masjid page. The picture is read on your phone, and on iPhone this uses Apple's own on-device text recognition. The photo is not uploaded or kept. Reading from a photo is available on iPhone only.
Notifications. Adhan reminders are scheduled on your phone. We do not use push servers.
Your settings. Your masjid times, adhkar counters and preferences are saved on your phone only. Deleting the app deletes them.
Links that leave the app
"Rate Azan Board" opens the App Store or Google Play. "Request a dua" opens your own email app with a message you can edit before sending. What happens there is between you and Apple, Google or your email provider. Azan Board itself sends nothing.
No third parties
The app contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
